Birlchwood Colts JFC are now a 1-Star Accredited football club, now thats amazing news!

Birchwood Colts becoming a 1-Star England Football Accredited Club is a fantastic achievement and a proud moment for everyone involved. This accreditation shows that the club meets high standards in coaching, safeguarding, and organisation, creating a safe and positive environment for young players to develop and enjoy football. It highlights the hard work of volunteers, coaches, parents, and players, and reinforces the club’s commitment to offering quality grassroots football within the community. It’s a milestone the whole club can be proud of.

Looking ahead, the club is excited to build on this success by expanding opportunities for even more players. Birchwood Colts aims to establish dedicated girls’ football teams and introduce a disability team, ensuring football is accessible, inclusive, and welcoming to everyone in the community. These future developments reflect the club’s ambition to grow, diversify, and continue offering pathways for all players to enjoy the game they love, which will allow us to chase for a 2nd and maybe a 3rd star!

Birchwood Colts are proud to announce the launch of the Birchwood Belles — our new girls’ football programme!
Training will begin with mixed-age sessions every Friday from 5pm to 6pm, and as numbers grow, we’ll form age-specific teams with their own dedicated training times.

We welcome all girls aged 6 to 13 to come along for our initial taster sessions and see how much fun football can be. Whether you’re new to the sport or already love the game, we’d be delighted to have you join us!

ShwoodFest is a summer music and community festival in Birchwood, Lincoln, organized by Ignite Elim Church. The event aims to bring people together on the Birchwood estate and features headlining UK garage acts, local talent through an open mic, music, and dance. It is a missional event, with all proceeds supporting the work of the church in the south of the city.
